OPENING NIGHT EXTRAVAGANZA!

SCAREDOWN Haunted Attractions is proud to announce our opening night extravaganza! On Friday the 13th in September, we'll be kicking off the 2013 season like no one else! We've got performances from Cincinnati Circus Company from 8pm to 11pm! You'll get all the fire juggling and stilt performing you can handle! And while you catch your breath in between our award-winning haunted attractions and ghost tours, stop over and spill your guts to Dent, from Dayton's official new rock station, and our proud partners, New Rock 103.9 The X - they'll be there all night broadcasting LIVE! This is the event to end all! Don't miss it! Tickets go on sale AUGUST 28TH!

We hope you are all enjoying the last days of winter and ready for some warm weather - we sure are! But the snow and rain hasn't stopped us in the least bit. We've been hard at work planning, drawing, building, buying and planning some more. We're very excited about the BIG changes happening at SCAREDOWN this year, and we can't wait to let you in on them. Fortunately, this year's events calendar starts long before the Halloween season. Last night I got to experience SCAREDOWN first hand. Pulling in to the farm from hell I was caught up in the wonder that the farm had been turned into. Trees covered in white lights lit up the night, a concessions truck was serving all my favorite holiday treats and a warm bonfire kept the shivers away from the cold winds but certainly not the terrible shakes and shivers I soon would receive from entering the barn only Mansion himself could dream up. Creeping in to the barn I knew from the dirty dingy hall I was in trouble and 99% sure I was going to shit myself, But with that said I kept my mind open to what I was gonna experience. The ghouls the screams I experienced I can’t seriously shake from my mind this isn’t no run of the mill, Kings Island created crap haunt this is real fear real interactions with theses horrifying characters that aren’t one bit scared of getting in your face and showing you how insane these guys really are, they won’t stop at all till your scarred out of your mind!! And trust me I was. Rooms full of terror to the point where I was in a pure fear panic, I felt as if I was in a horror movie that was only going to end with me being one of their many casualties. Now of course I’m not going to sit here and give away room for room every bit of horrifying fear I experienced but I do want to say that creator/director and fear master Josh Hasty needs a little recognition. I can say with confidence if anyone else where to put on a show like this they couldn’t AT ALL pull of what Josh has brewed up in his wicked mind. And if you go with a mindset that you seen everything and you don’t think it could be scary try asking the 2 of my friends who couldn’t even finish it and the 5 others who I saw being chased by mad men with chainsaws all the way to their cars! This place is insane intense and I would recommend it to any thrill seeker out there. I will tell you right now that it’s the best money spent for Halloween entertainment! So if you don’t believe me then why don’t you check it out for yourself and ill try to fumble through your stuttering and shock filled thoughts on the haunt! ~Clinton Vearil
